Sculptor Borys Burrough

Borys Burrough is a London-based sculptor and QEST scholar with an MA in wood carving from The City & Guilds of London Art School, where he now also teaches. Borys is an ornamental wood carver, restorer and gilder, with a specialisation in ecclesiastical sculpture and antique picture frames. He has created many statues for many different religious houses around the world.

Here he is proudly holding the new Saint Jude statue before it was placed deep into the ground in March 2025. He created a long base, so that it could go deep into the ground and be there for a long time to come in our Garden of Hope.
