Unfortunately, the resolution of this Pandemic crisis has taken longer than anyone anticipated, and since the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 14 June, we have taken the difficult decision to keep the Shrine closed until at least 19 July 2021. 

We will only reopen when the UK Government and the bishops of England and Wales allow us to do so. 

The Shrine continues to offer the various online services that will keep running throughout this period of uncertainty (please click on the boxes below), and we are still answering letters, emails and phone calls.

Remember we will keep praying for you and we know Saint Jude will stay with you – he is a friend to all of us and he is the Saint of Hope.
