Today is International Women's Day (8 March), which is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. 

At the Shrine of Saint Jude, we have some beautiful icons of just a few of the great female Carmelite Saints, as well as images of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, our mother and sister.
