Happy Earth Day 2026. The theme for Earthday.org 2026 is “Our Power, Our Planet”, the theme focuses on civic engagement, renewable energy, and combating plastic pollution.

Over the years, the Shrine of Saint Jude has tried to reduce its plastic use across the site, including the ban of plastic candles – now all recyclable glass. We endeavour to keep caring for the environment wherever and whenever we can – whether it be the ‘Garden of Hope’ or using recycled paper for our printing, or using sustainable bamboo paper in the toilets.
