Back

Today we remember and celebrate Saint Barnabas. “There was a Levite, a native of Cyprus, Joseph, to whom the apostles gave the name Barnabas. Which means son of encouragement." 4:36-37

From what we know of Barnabas he was generous, giving what he had to the care of the community, he had a great zeal in spreading the Gospel and encouraging people in faith.

Barnabas is also known as a peacemaker, resolving situations within the new Christian communities, ultimately pointing people to Christ.
