Pilgrims Always Welcome
news: 8 October 2026
The Shrine of Saint Jude has prided itself as a centre of pilgrimage since 1955. Pilgrimages from all over the country (and world) visit our shrine most weeks and will often be welcomed here by the Shrine Chaplain, Br. Paul de Groot, O.Carm and the Carmelite community, plus other members of the Shrine Office team. The team enables pilgrims to visit the Information Centre and Garden of Hope as well as provide an opportunity to celebrate Mass (either with a Carmelite friar or with their own priest).
Recently we were able to welcome the Our Lady of Croydon Catholic Group, Helen Ligory sent the following feedback:

“Thank you very much for all your help to make our day a memorable one. Thanks again. God bless you”.
If you would like to attend the Shrine of Saint Jude on pilgrimage, please visit our special page here or come and join us on 24-28 October for our Feast of Saint Jude. All sorts of pilgrims visit us and you are all welcome.
