Garden of Hope

The Saint Jude Garden of Hope is dedicated to all those people who donate to the Annual Fund or for those people you have asked to be remembered through the Annual Fund. If you want to donate towards the creation of our garden, you can do that here.
On 16 September 2021, the Mayor of Faversham, Mrs Alison Reynolds officially opened the new Garden of Hope.
“God Almighty first planted a garden. And indeed, it is the purest of human pleasures.”
It was blessed by Fr Brendan Grady, O.Carm – Chaplain of the Shrine.
The garden has been created and grown by local garden prize winner, Mick May (pictured below).
We are also very grateful to all the local businesses and people who have supported the garden through plants, furniture and much more
Afterwards, guests were able to enjoy a lunch prepared by Nic May in the Welcome Centre
The Mayor cut the cake donated by Mrs Florinda Bharadwa.
If you are able, please donate towards the upkeep of the garden, here
Thank you to all our guests for sharing the day with us and to the Shrine Office team for facilitating and preparing this event.
The signs have been painted and created by Mic Redsell. Read more about Mic, here.
