The ‘summer’ edition of ‘Carmelite News’ from the Carmelite Shrine of Saint Jude is now available. It has been written by the Prior Provincial, Brendan Grady, O.Carm, for the friends of the Shrine of Saint Jude and the Carmelite Order.
In this issue, Brendan reflects on the words of Archbishop John Wilson (Southwark) at last year’s Pentecost and how they resonated with him. Brendan also discusses the latest events at the Shrine including the Archbishop of Canterbury’s visit (see above) and the Summer Celebration last month, as well as future events including the 100th anniversary since the Carmelites returned to Britain. Finally, he updates readers on Province news especially on the recent death of former Shrine Director, Fr. David Fox, O.Carm.
